The Humber Education Business Partnership (EBP) wanted to look at changing the software they used to manage over 6,000 of their annual work experience placements across the Humber Sub Region of East Riding, Hull, North and North East Lincolnshire. They undertook extensive research as to market availability and consulted with other Education Business Partnerships about the ease and fitness for purpose of other systems, including Nicholas Associates’ All Together system.
After considering these and other factors, including cost, training on the use of the system, future updating of the software and the possibility of using the remote app to collect employer data on site, Humber Education Business Partnership decided to contract with Nicholas Associates.
When asked what the implementation process was like for Humber Education Business Partnership, General Manager, Helen Wilson said, “It was easy with Nicholas Associates. It was a simple process; planned in and managed by the team there.”
The training on the new system was delivered by James Waring, Head of Software at Nicholas Associates. Humber Education Business Partnership said, “The training went very well. The staff picked up the use of the new app quickly in only one afternoon session, with few follow up issues,”.
Helen said she found the user group meetings, hosted by the Nicholas Associates Software team, very useful. She felt a national event, perhaps in London, would be a good next step for all clients.
Helen also said that the Humber EBP felt they had been treated very well as a new and much valued Nicholas Associates client.
James Waring said, “We are pleased to be working with Humber EBP. They are an efficient yet friendly team who are keen to use the database to their best advantage, saving cost and resource throughout”
