Individual Learning Plans gives the learner full power to discover and improve themselves for progression, with the aid of a personal plan, by stating exactly what learners need to progress, assists in working towards each target to get the their long term goals, giving more freedom, motivation and more importantly – control.
To work alongside teachers, this application allows a 'special' view of students progression – easily and quickly, allowing any assistance to be given.
We know from experience, a learner recording their progress and achievements is a very valuable tool, therefore, we have developed and researched into designing and implementing a system, giving the user access to information they want and save when they want.
Storing learning achievements: work experience, personal statements and interests, are beneficial to employers / admission tutors to get an overall view of the learner. You can also upload differing types of media to support these, from images, videos to standard documents.
Throughout the ILP, the user can generate a custom CV via the CV Builder. Helpful points and direction can be delivered via quizzes or attached documentation. Compliant with other CAP systems.
Information, Advice and Guidance. This is usually delivered by Video or Games (usually built in flash). We have found this form of communication valuable to the learner, as they offer something different, a more informed way of getting the information across.
Giving control to the user of layout and their personal details section, we found can help link a user to the ownership of their ILP, this control goes through all levels – from administrator to learner.
Ensuring all ILP’s meet the levels of standard set by DCSF are very important when it comes to building a leading 14 – 19 product. We also support XCRI - this is to ensure update of the courses / places of study can be easily added and full integration to government systems.
