Three-month Trends

At the sector level, five out of the nine sectors grew in the three months to August 2025. Private housing repair and maintenance was the main contributor, where it grew by 5.6%.
Construction output edged down in August 2025, as weaker repair and maintenance offset gains in new work. However, modest growth over the three months to August, driven by strength in private housing repair and maintenance, suggests the sector remains resilient despite mixed monthly performance.
